Video: Proposed New Pentucket 7-12 Building Exterior

You are here: Home / News / Video: Proposed New Pentucket 7-12 Building Exterior

March 18, 2019 by John Guilfoil

A video rendering of the proposed new building, created by project management and architecture firm Dore & Whittier, provides a virtual tour of what the combined middle and high school site would look like from the outside. The three story building would be set significantly farther back from Route 113 than the current structure and would offer separate wings for middle and high school students. By building a combined middle and high school building, the district not only satisfies community wishes, but saves significant taxpayer money. The district’s administration offices will remain as they stand today and untouched by construction in order to save costs and keep the project’s focus on student needs. Groveland, Merrimac, and West Newbury residents will be asked to vote to approve the project at Town Meetings on April 29 and through a ballot vote on May 6.
